Instructor - Chris Lam

Chris has proven full-stack software development and DevOps experiences, ranging from Architect and CTO at successful startups, to tier-one investment banking and listed group as Tech Director. At the age of 15, he started his own web hosting business and developed an online reseller system for a Taiwanese DVD vendor.

Chris has 7 years technical training experience and is currently a part-time university Lecturer. As a Professional Scrum Master, he strongly believes that DevOps is the fundamental engineering practice that plays a critical part in agile software development.

Chris holds a MSc in Computer Science from the University of Hong Kong, and is proud to be an IVE alumni.

Instructor - Lorenz Cheung

Lorenz Cheung is the first and only Professional Scrum Trainer in Hong Kong and is one of the twelve PST in the world certified to teach all range of Scrum.org courses. He teaches in Hong Kong, China, Singapore and Malaysia. He learned Scrum from the master, Ken Schwaber, the co-creator of Scrum.

Lorenz has 8 years / 11000+ hours of experience as Scrum Master. He has been leading Agile Software Development in Hong Kong and London for 12 years, from small start-ups of 2 people to large enterprises with more than 30000 people.

With a software Engineering background in Web & Mobile, Lorenz has a wide range of technical skills and is able to coach development team engineering practices, software development principles. He also works closely with Senior Management, CxO levels for Business and Product Strategy. His strong business background combined with his deep technical understanding gives Lorenz a unique perspective. He understands the expectations that business has of technology and has the practical experience on how to bring business agility to Enterprise.

He just led the team to achieve Best Mobile App at Hong Kong ICT award 2016.

The Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO) is the market leading Product Owner training class created by Scrum.org and Ken Schwaber, co-creator of Scrum. The PSPO course is much more than just a set of slides and an instructor. In this course, students work on real-life cases with their classmates, together as a team. This course is made up of presentation, discussion and hands-on exercises based upon real-life cases.

After the class, students are eligible for the PSPO I assessment certification. If you pass the assessment, you will gain the industry recognized PSPO I certification.. This certification will NEVER expire, and make you part of an elite community of PSPOI badge holders.

The PSPO course may be interesting to all involved in software development using the Scrum framework but has been specifically conceived for those responsible for products from a business and product management perspective and taking up the highly accountable role of Scrum Product Owner.

Being a professional Product Owner encompasses more than writing requirements or managing a Product Backlog. Product Owners need to have a concrete understanding of all product management aspects, including but not limited to product ownership, that drives value from their products.

The 2-day Professional Scrum Product Owner course focuses on all of these areas to teach students how to maximize the value of software products and systems.

PSPO is the cutting-edge course for Product Owners, Agile product managers and anyone responsible for a software product’s success in the market. In this course, students will develop and solidify their knowledge of being a Product Owner through instruction and team-based exercises.
